Comparing scenarios
Side-by-side view
Toggle multiple scenario chips on in the Scenario Bar. All charts and tables will display data for every active scenario simultaneously.
KPI comparison cards
On the Supply Planning page, KPI cards include navigation arrows to cycle through scenarios and see how each performs on key metrics.Color coding
- Green indicates a favorable difference (higher revenue or lower costs)
- Red indicates an unfavorable difference
Editing a scenario
- Change color - Click on the scenario chip and select a new color
- Rename - Edit the scenario details from the scenario management dialog
- Add events - Attach demand or supply events to model specific business impacts
Downloading and exporting
You can export scenario data for offline analysis:- Download scenario - Export the full scenario dataset including demand, facilities, products, and KPIs
- Export scenario - Generate a summary export in CSV/Excel format

Best practices
Use meaningful names
Use meaningful names
Name scenarios based on the assumption they test, like “Q3 Promo Push” or “Conservative Demand”. This makes comparison more intuitive.
Keep a clean baseline
Keep a clean baseline
Use the Forecast Base as your unchanged reference point. Apply changes only to custom scenarios so you always have a clean comparison.
Limit active scenarios
Limit active scenarios
While you can create many scenarios, showing more than 3-4 at once can make charts hard to read. Toggle off scenarios you’re not actively comparing.
Re-run simulations after changes
Re-run simulations after changes
After modifying events or assumptions in a scenario, always re-run the simulation to update all KPIs with the latest data.
