KPI driver chain
The P&L waterfall shows how KPIs cascade from revenue to profit:How to use it
- Identify root causes - If EBIT is declining, trace back through the driver chain to find which input KPI is causing the change
- Impact analysis - See which downstream KPIs will be affected when a driver changes
- Segment performance - Identify your best and worst performers across any dimension
- Planning focus - Determine which KPIs to prioritize based on their influence on outcomes
