These collaborative capabilities ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient decision-making across all planning stages.

Object detail view drawers

Object detail view drawers let you open and explore the details of Plans, Scenarios, and Events without leaving your current view. Each drawer provides:
  • A structured view of the key attributes of the object.
  • A comments section where you can exchange feedback in context.
  • An activity log to track changes and updates over time.
You can move between linked objects and return to the previous drawer with the back option, making navigation smooth and intuitive.

Contextual comments

Contextual comments make it easy to discuss directly within the planning objects themselves. Instead of relying on external channels, conversations are captured where the work happens.
  • Supports threaded comments, grouped by day with the most recent on top.
  • Use @mentions to notify colleagues and bring them into the discussion.
This keeps all feedback and alignment transparent, traceable, and accessible to everyone involved.

Activity log

The activity log provides a clear history of what has happened on each object. It automatically records actions such as creating an object or editing an event.
  • Each entry is timestamped and linked to the user who performed the action.
  • Activities are grouped by date, with the latest shown first.
  • The log is accessible in its own tab within the drawer.
By keeping a complete record of updates and decisions, the activity log ensures accountability and helps teams stay aligned on progress.

Task management

Task management brings your planning coordination directly into SIMCEL. Instead of tracking work in external tools, you can create, assign, and progress tasks, all within the context of your plans, scenarios, and events. Each task supports assignees, due dates, tags, comments, and file attachments. You can view tasks on a Kanban board (drag and drop across To Do, In Progress, Completed, and Rejected) or in a flat List view for a quick status overview. Use the My tasks toggle to filter down to work assigned to you, or link tasks directly to SIMCEL objects to keep everything in context.
